1st Day of School

Little Girl isn't so little any more. She is in the fifth grade. She has been anxious to find out who her teacher is going to be. We found out it is Mrs. R. Mrs. R is fantastic. She had both of Little Girl's brother's in previous years - many moons ago as Oldest Boy is almost 18 and is going into the National Guard and the Middle Boy is a Junior this year. Mrs. R has seen LG grow up. But then there was Mr. S. Mr. S was OB's second grade teacher in another district AND Mr. S and I went to the same defunct high school together. So we have history with both teachers.

I guess I will see how the first day went later. I am happy because I can now get these troublemakers I call kids into bed at a half way decent hour.... or at least try.
